Committed to Healing and Holistic Well-being! Programs developed by Doctorate prepared holistic nurse specializing in mental health, hospice, and trauma informed care and in consultation and collaboration with multidisciplinary team including chaplain, social worker, and psychology/sociology trained consultant.
- All Wellness with Donkeys Programs are free of charge for individuals and groups.
- Partner and lead donkey trainer is NL level 2 trained and currently pursuing certification. This means that program operate from a principle of healthy connections and relationships for both the equines and the humans.
- Programs use a holistic approach to enhance healing and wellness and are based on evidence in scholarly research.
- Provide complimentary healing modalities to maintain animal health and well-being with an understanding that equines can choose their desire to participate in programs.
Committed to Providing a home for Equines in Need! Every equine deserves to be loved and find peace instead of shuttled from auction to auction. Woodfords Hollow is dedicated to finding equines from the auction pipeline and giving them a second chance at life and providing a sanctuary of love to live out the rest of their lives. We strive to provide that here at Woodfords Hollow through many different ways.
