Kimberly Woodford

 Kimberly started her equine journey at age 5, under the instruction of Kathy Chanel (now Holland).  She studied under Kathy for 30+ years until transitioning into other riding disciplines to include Dressage and Eventing.  In 2019, her journey with donkeys began.  Kimberly continues to immerse herself in all things long-ears and  enjoys bringing the magic of donkeys to others, as well as helping other donkey owners work towards their own goals.  NL Level 1 trained,  Kimberly is in the process of completing her Trauma Informed - Equine Assisted Services certification through Natural Lifemanship and is looking forward to integrating this knowledge into customized programs bringing something truly unique to NE Ohio.

Kimberly holds her Doctorate Degree in Nursing, specializing in Hospice, pediatrics, mental health, and forensic nursing.   She holds certification through the Hospice and Palliative Nursing Association and also completed specialized training as an End-of-Life Doula. Known for her deep compassion and commitment to holistic wellbeing, Kimberly draws on both her equine experience and her professional background to develop programs to enhance wellness through unique and fun interactions with donkeys and the other equines and animals at Woodfords Hollow.
